Scott Kinsey Group – Special NAMM SHOW EDITION!!!

We are also celebrating the 1 year anniversary of our monthly residency at the Baked Potato!
What better way to do it than with a bandmember ‘favorite baked potato’ reveal!

Scott Kinsey (Tribal Tech) : Keyboards. Nord Electro 5 (yes, last year’s model) & the original Nord Lead 2 (Like certain people, it’s a little older now but still the best), Motu UltraLite AVB, Akai APC Key25, Roland VT-4, Ableton Live 10, Black table that was a gift from Steve Tavaglione and a pair of QSC K.2 monitors.

Scott’s Favorite Potato: Ham and Cheese, with Corn!

Bob Reynolds (Snarky Puppy) : Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone, equipped with D’Addario reeds (because as he explains, with D’Addario, every reed is a good reed..* ) Of course while it goes without saying, Bob prefers Rovner ligatures. (Don’t you?)

Bob’s Favorite Potato: Ham and Cheese!

Jimmy Earl (Jimmy Kimmel Show!) : 1966 Fender Jazz Bass, Dean Markley SR2000 bass strings all pumped through a Gallien Kreuger amp.
SVT cabinet? I can not confirm nor deny.

Jimmys Favorite Potato: Teriyaki Beef!

Gary Novak (Chick Corea) : Gretsch Broadkaster Drums, in black finish for maximum groove potential. Zildjian K Constantinople cymbals including 70’s New Beat hi-hats. You will only find Remo coated ambassador heads on these drums. We would like to thank Remo for ‘coating’ the heads ‘for her pleasure’.
Gary also plays his very own custom designed Gary Novak signature drumsticks, which are actually so hip and top-secret you can not even buy them at a music store. But what else would you expect, he’s Gary Novak.

Gary’s Favorite Potato: Bacon and Cheese!

* Every reed may not in fact be a good reed
